My love for technology ignited during elementary school. It was a simple curiosity at first, but it laid the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion. Those early experiences with computers opened a world of possibilities that I couldn't have imagined.

Junior high school marked a turning point in my technological journey. I discovered Facebook and began exploring the vast landscape of personal computing. I would frequently visit Gramedia bookstore, immersing myself in computer books and magazines, absorbing knowledge like a sponge.

Despite being placed in Office Administration studies rather than a tech-focused program, my passion for technology didn't waver. I found my tribe – friends from the software engineering field who shared my interests. Together, we explored the practical side of computing: installing Windows, troubleshooting hardware issues, and setting up software.

Armed with knowledge and enthusiasm, I landed a job at a computer shop after graduation. This role expanded my horizons beyond software to hardware components and networking. I learned to configure Mikrotik devices, set up access points and routers, and work with LAN cables – building a comprehensive understanding of computer networks.

With my second salary, I invested in an Arduino board – a decision that opened new creative avenues. I built a Bluetooth-controlled RC car, using hotel computers to learn and code. This project embodied my philosophy: learning by building.

My career took an unexpected turn when I joined Royal Caribbean Cruise Line as a seafarer. This experience significantly improved my English skills – a crucial asset for someone in tech, where most resources and tools are in English. Being able to understand software just by reading tool names accelerated my learning curve tremendously.

My curiosity led me to explore 3D modeling, animation, and graphic design. YouTube became my classroom, and fellow enthusiasts became my mentors. Each new skill built upon the last, creating a diverse technological toolkit.

Eventually, my path led to web programming. I started with the fundamentals – HTML, CSS, and JavaScript – before advancing to frameworks like Laravel, React, and Vue. Laravel quickly became my favorite, partly due to its PHP foundation. This journey from hardware to networks to programming represents my holistic approach to technology.

After COVID-19 changed the world, I added carpentry to my repertoire of skills. This hands-on craft complemented my digital expertise, reinforcing my identity as a builder – someone who creates, whether with code or wood.
